• A Japanese multi-purpose garden snip made by Kamaki that makes nice smooth cuts. Made of high carbon steel. the cutting edges are sharp cut nicely. Works great for various garden tasks such as trimming. pruning. thinning. general purpose cutting. It is also great for working with Bonsai arranging flowers. The handles are extra large for a good grip.    Made in Japan.

  About Carbon Steel

     High carbon steel is tougher harder than stainless steels. making it ideal desirable for applications where durability is required where frequent regrinding is needed. Carbon steels are more durable have razor-sharp edges. is easy to re-sharpen as well when the need arises.

Therefore. it is important to try and keep your carbon steel blades away from moist or damp environments as much as possible. It is also a good idea to occasionally wipe the blade with a light oil. such as mineral oil from time to time. It is also a good idea to wipe the blade dry after each use.
